The direct line of Dale's ancestors came from County Mayo, Ireland and settled in Maysville, Kentucky. Dale's grandfather moved from Maysville to Fairbury, Illinois around the end of WWI.

Other ancestors on the Maley side were the Bodleys, Smiths, and Volivas.  On Dale's mother's side of the family, the main families include the Damerons, Cornwells, and the Richardsons.

Both Dale and Connie are originally from Fairbury. We have lived in Illinois, Michigan, South Carolina, and Georgia.  We returned to Fairbury, Illinois in 1999.
