A friend of mine is changing jobs, and moving to an apartment, so he is selling his whole woodworking shop. I picked up this Delta 31-250 sander. It sands boards 18 inches wide, and if you flip the board over, you can sand 36 inches wide.

My small Sears shop vac seems to keep up ok with the dust.  This bad boy is heavy, somewhere between 190 and 250 lbs. It really takes 2  people to move it.

I plan to use it mainly for sanding out the imperfections in glued up table tops or shelves......on the glued joints.
