My wood locks have been used in wedding ceremonies to symbolize the bride and groom "locked together" during marriage.  In England and Australia, this is sometimes called the "locking ceremony". The key for the lock can be spirited away forever using helium baloons.

The mechanical models make great gifts for youngsters.......or even adults that like to see how things work.
